Celsius Network Limited, a CEL token issuer with offices in London (UK), Tel Aviv (Israel), and New Jerser (US), on Thursday (18/3) announced that it had listed its token on Bitfinex, the world’s cryptocurrency exchange based in Hong Kong and registered in the British Virgin Islands.
The announcement is a realization of the collaboration between Celsius and Bitfinex which was agreed in last October 2020. For this cooperation, CEL token will be traded on Bitfinex starting March 25, following the entry of CEL to Bittrex, a cryptocurrency trading exchange based in Seattle, Washington, US, a week ago.
“This is a very exciting day for the CEL token. We are proud to collaborate with Bitfinex to make CEL token more accessible to millions of customers worldwide,” said Alex Mashinsky, CEO of Celsius Network.
CEL is a token issued by Celsius Network, an all-in-one banking and financial services platform for cryptocurrency users founded by Alex Mashinsky and Daniel Leon in 2017.
CEL holders can take advantage of several token utilities available through the Celsius platform, including earning returns on cryptocurrencies with interest rates up to 25% higher.
Based on data from Coinmarketcap.com, CEL is currently the 72nd rated token out of 8,884 tokens in the world with a market capitalization of around US$1.2 billion
